New York, NY — On Wednesday, March 9, 2016, TimeWarner hosted Four Block’s New York class for a networking event and panel discussion at their headquarters.
A panel of five TimeWarner executives shared their insights and advice regarding the transition into a civilian career. The panel included Joseph Petro, Senior Vice President, Chief Security Officer and a U.S. Navy veteran; Loren Kile Bunche, Managing Director within the Worldwide Recruitment & Executive Search team; Alan Echtenkamp, Executive Director and Global Head of Talent Management; Michelle Blieberg, Senior Vice President of Talent Management and the Head of Corporate Human Resources; and Brian Mykulak, Manager of Finance in the Entertainment Finance Department and a U.S. Army veteran.
The panelists spoke to students about their career trajectories and the hiring process at TimeWarner, a global leader in the media and entertainment business. They emphasized the importance of creating a personal brand and staying true to it during the job search. Students also had the opportunity to network with the panelists and a handful of other TimeWarner employees present at the event, and they gained key insights regarding the transition process and pursuing a career with the company.
