FourBlock has joined forces with national learning company Prepare To Launch U to create a comprehensive, instructional career transition program for military spouses looking to return to work or pivot into new careers.
We recognize that it’s not just the service member who faces career challenges; their spouse does, too. Partnering with Prepare to Launch U and tapping into their expert knowledge and proven curriculum allows FourBlock to provide an experience for military spouses similar to the FourBlock cohort experience that we have offered to transitioning service members and veterans for the past 10 years.
The FourBlock-PTLU Military Spouse Career Readiness Program features live video coaching, flexible online learning modules, and all of the instruction, tools, and inspiration a military spouse will need to navigate her or his way to a meaningful career. Military spouses who complete the program will also have access to an expanded community of FourBlock alumni, employers, and instructors for additional networking and mentorship. The program is offered at no cost.
In the Fall of 2020, we conducted a PILOT program with 22 military spouses, which concluded in November. Participants in the pilot program completed the full course and provided invaluable feedback to improve and finalize the curriculum. This Spring, 22 spouses completed the inaugural semester of the program.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be offering the program again this fall! The Fall 2021 MilSpouse Program is scheduled to begin on September 17th with an Orientation session followed by a 10-week curriculum.
Thank you for your interest! Our Fall program is now full. Please sign up below to get early notification when applications will open again for the Spring 2021 cohort.

Calling Former Military Spouses in Civilian Careers
As we continue to expand our efforts to support the active-duty military spouse community, we know many of our employer partners would like to coach or mentor this dynamic group. Please consider offering an hour or two a month to connect with a spouse working on his or her career next steps. Let us know your interest and we’ll keep you posted on our efforts.
