Queta Rodriguez | National Operations Director
Queta Rodriguez is a native of San Antonio, Texas. She enlisted in the Marine Corps in December 1991 and spent her first ten years as an Intelligence Analyst, serving in Mogadishu, Somalia and numerous locations in the Pacific and Southwest Asia.
In 1998, Queta was selected to the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) and attended the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics. She was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in June 2001 and spent the next ten years as a Manpower Operations Officer in support of deployed forces in the Pacific and around the world. Her final assignment was as the Manpower Operations Officer at U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command (USMARCENT) where she deployed extensively in support of Marine Forces in Afghanistan and throughout the Middle East.
Following her retirement in January 2012, Queta served as the Director of Veterans Services for Bexar County, TX where she transformed the county’s Veterans Service program into one of the most recognized in the State of Texas, working closely with public, private, and non-profit agencies.
In 2018, Queta joined the FourBlock Foundation, where she has served as the Texas Program Manager and Regional Director. She was instrumental in the expansion of the FourBlock Career Readiness Program footprint in Texas and the South-Central regions of the U.S.
In July 2020, while serving the transitioning veteran and employer community, Queta was appointed by the Secretary of the Army as a member of the Fort Hood Independent Review Committee, where she helped develop recommendations aimed at improving the command climate and culture at Fort Hood and beyond.
In June 2022, Queta assumed the role of FourBlock National Operations Director, where she is leading all internal operations of the organization, primarily focused on organizational strategy, program expansion and execution, and employer partnerships.
Queta also serves as Chair for the San Antonio Regional Community Veterans Engagement Board (CVEB) and volunteers with numerous veteran and non-veteran community-based organizations. She is the proud mother of four beautiful children – Derrian, Marisa, Amaya, and Miguel.
