Karl Himes is a veteran and served as a prior-enlisted “Mustang” Public Affairs Officer. As a PAO, Karl served in Twentynine Palms, CA, Washington, D.C., Southwest Asia, and New York City. He also served a tour on recruiting duty in Portland, OR. As an enlisted Marine, he served as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense Specialist in California, the Western Pacific and Southwest Asia. Karl was commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps via the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program.
Since his time in uniform, Karl has worked in the Banking, Government and Tech sectors, most recently as a project manager with Microsoft Military Affairs. He is a FourBlock alumnus and has been supporting FourBlock as an Associate Instructor since 2018.
Karl has an MBA from New York University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration degrees from The University of Arizona.
