Jayon Feeney | Career Readiness Instructor: Minneapolis – Virtual
Jayson is a FourBlock Alumni (2018) and a Marine Corps veteran with over 15 years of service on active duty from 2003 to 2018. He served in the Marine Air Wings, Marine Divisions, MARSOC, as a Maintenance Manager and at TECOM (Training and Education Command) as a Chief Instructor at the Center for Learning and Faculty Development. He has two combat deployments during OIF 2007 and OIF 2009. Jayson is currently the Learning and Development Manager at Mortenson, a top 25 builder and developer construction company, located in Golden Valley, MN.
Since his transition from military service, Jayson first worked at Blattner Energy out of Avon, MN, as a Field Instructor and later the Field Training Supervisor, developing other trainers as they supported learning experiences of craft and non-craft trade positions as they constructed utility grade renewable energy platforms (Wind, Solar and Battery Storage Systems) across the United States. Now Jayson is developing learning strategies at Mortenson for the craft workforce of today and tomorrow.
Jayson lives in St. Cloud, MN and is originally from Vancouver, WA. He is passionate about supporting fellow veterans find fulfilling careers, sharing his success story from what he learned at FourBlock, as well as using his experience to help veterans navigate the challenging waters of CIV DIV.
