Marking a Decade of Service, FourBlock Spring 2021 Semester to Begin Across the Nation
With expanded access to 18 cohorts across the country, FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program is poised for its most impactful semester yet
(NEW YORK CITY) – As it marks 10 years of service to our nation’s transitioning veterans, FourBlock is preparing to launch the furthest reaching, most impactful semester of its Career Readiness Program to date. With locations in 15 cities across the United States and three fully virtual, regional cohorts to meet more veterans wherever they are, transitioning service members and veterans in cohorts across the country and stationed around the world will begin the program in the coming weeks as FourBlock continues to build a nationwide network of veteran professionals and corporate partners dedicated to supporting service members and veterans in their transition to meaningful new careers after military service.
In the coming weeks, the Spring 2021 semester of FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program will kick off in Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; San Antonio, TX; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Tampa, FL; and Washington, D.C., along with three regional virtual cohorts serving veterans and service members around the world in three different time zones.
The Career Readiness Program integrates online learning experiences with face-to-face (in-person or virtual) sessions to help transitioning veterans develop a relationship-based career strategy and equip them with the tools, skills, and relationship building opportunities necessary to succeed in civilian careers. The program also acts as an entryway to FourBlock’s nationwide network of veteran professionals.
Over the course of a semester, participants also obtain real-world corporate experience by connecting with different companies each week and meeting with senior executives from host companies such as Accenture, ADP, Coca-Cola, LinkedIn, PwC, T-Mobile, USAA, Wells Fargo, and many others.
To date, FourBlock has served more than 2,500 veterans through its flagship Career Readiness Program. With new regional virtual cohorts to reach more veterans wherever they are, this semester is shaping up to be the foundation’s most impactful yet.
