Home Depot Hosts Fourblock Atlanta Class

The home improvement giant opened its doors to FourBlock Atlanta’s Fall 2016 cohort.

(NEW YORK CITY) – On September 22, FourBlock Atlanta’s weekly class was hosted by Home Depot at the Atlanta-based company’s Store Support Center.

Home Depot University Leadership Training Manager Ted Studdard presented to the class of nearly 40 students about his transition from the military and what Home Depot has to offer career-driven student veterans. He also hit on the importance of seeking employment at an organization that shares your values.

Other guests included representatives from Elevated Image, Turner Construction, Comcast, GT, Draper & Associates, Georgia State University, and nonprofit collaborator Bunker Labs.

The weekly classes are part of FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program, a semester-long course that equips student veterans with the tools needed to find success in the best possible careers.
