FourBlock Spring 2023 Veteran Career Readiness Program Begins Across the Nation
With cohorts available in person and virtually across the country, FourBlock’s Veteran Career Readiness Program grows support for service members’ military-to-civilian career transitions
February 13, 2023 (NEW YORK CITY) – FourBlock will officially launch a new semester of its flagship Veteran Career Readiness Program this week, with 400 transitioning service members and veterans enrolled in both in-person and virtual program cohorts across the country.
Now in its 13th year, FourBlock’s Veteran Career Readiness Program has supported more than 3,600 veterans in their transitions from military service to meaningful new civilian careers. Operating both in-person and virtual cohorts this semester, the program will provide opportunities for transitioning service members and veterans from across the country and around the world to access to the resources and relationship-building opportunities they need to make a successful transition to meaningful new civilian careers.
This week, FourBlock’s Veteran Career Readiness Program will kick off with nine in-person cohorts in Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; San Antonio, TX; San Diego, CA; Tampa, FL; and Washington, D.C. In addition, seven virtual cohorts will serve veterans and service members around the world in different time zones, including a brand-new global cohort to better meet the needs of student veterans and active-duty service members stationed around the world. Those virtual cohorts are: Northeast – Virtual; Southeast – Virtual; Central – Virtual; Texas – Virtual; Pacific Northwest – Virtual; and Pacific Southwest – Virtual.
Students in the Spring 2023 program will be participating from 38 states across the country and as far as Germany and Italy as FourBlock continues to expand its program offerings and reach more transitioning service members and veterans where they are.
FourBlock’s flagship Veteran Career Readiness Program integrates online learning experiences with face-to-face (in-person or virtual) sessions to help transitioning veterans develop a relationship-based career strategy and equip them with the tools, skills, and relationship building opportunities necessary to succeed in civilian careers. The program also acts as an entryway to FourBlock’s nationwide network of program alumni, veteran professionals, and corporate partners dedicated to supporting service members and veterans in their transition to meaningful new careers after military service.
Over the course of a semester, participants also obtain real-world corporate experience by connecting with different companies each week and meeting with senior executives from host companies such as ADP, Blackstone, Boeing, The Coca-Cola Company, Comcast NBCUniversal, Delta Air Lines, Jefferies, LinkedIn, Lockheed Martin, PwC, Raytheon, Truist, USAA, Wells Fargo, and many others.
