FourBlock Launches New Digital Credentialing Initiative with Credly
Veterans and military spouses who complete FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program will now be able to earn an official digital credential.
NEW YORK, NY (August 25, 2021) – FourBlock, a national nonprofit organization that supports veterans and military spouses in their transition to meaningful civilian careers, today announced the launch of a new digital badging program in partnership with Credly, the leading provider for creating, issuing and managing digital credentials. Participants who complete the relevant program requirements will now earn an official FourBlock digital badge that they can display on LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
“We are excited to offer this new credential to our veterans and military spouses so they can share their experience within their networks and on their resumes,” said Lisa Stern, Director of Program Impact and Assessment for FourBlock. “For employers, our new digital badges make it easy to identify veterans and military spouses who have completed our comprehensive program and have the skills needed to find a meaningful career in the civilian workforce.”
FourBlock is working with Credly to administer the digital badges. Credly collaborates with top global training providers, credential issuers, associations and academic institutions that are similarly focused on the power of verified skills and achievements. Credly transforms knowledge, skills and achievements into digital credentials that empower individuals to connect with learning and career opportunities.
