FourBlock Fall 2022 Veteran Career Readiness Program to Begin Across the Nation
With cohorts available across the country, FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program continues to expand to support more service members and veterans’ military-to-civilian career transitions
FourBlock will officially launch a new semester of its flagship Veteran Career Readiness Program this week, with nearly 400 transitioning service members and veterans enrolled in virtual and hybrid cohorts across the country. The Fall 2022 semester will kick off first with the FourBlock Atlanta cohort this week, which will hold its Orientation session for nearly 30 service members and veterans. All enrolled students will then start their semester in the coming weeks, with all cohorts launching by mid-September.
Now in its 12th year, FourBlock’s Veteran Career Readiness Program has supported more than 3,400 veterans in their transitions from military service to meaningful new civilian careers. Operating both virtual and hybrid cohorts this semester, the program will provide opportunities for transitioning service members and veterans from across the country and around the world to access to the resources and relationship-building opportunities they need to make a successful transition to meaningful new civilian careers.
Students in the Fall 2022 program will be participating from as far as Germany, Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore as FourBlock continues to build a nationwide network of veteran professionals and corporate partners dedicated to supporting service members and veterans in their transition to meaningful new careers after military service.
In the coming weeks, FourBlock’s Veteran Career Readiness Program will kick off in Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; San Antonio, TX; Tampa, FL; and Washington, D.C., along with five regional virtual cohorts serving veterans and service members around the world in three different time zones: Virtual East, Virtual Central, Virtual Texas, Virtual West (North) and Virtual West (South).
FourBlock’s flagship Veteran Career Readiness Program integrates online learning experiences with face-to-face (in-person or virtual) sessions to help transitioning veterans develop a relationship-based career strategy and equip them with the tools, skills, and relationship building opportunities necessary to succeed in civilian careers. The program also acts as an entryway to FourBlock’s nationwide network of veteran professionals.
Over the course of a semester, participants also obtain real-world corporate experience by connecting with different companies each week and meeting with senior executives from host companies such as Accenture, ADP, Coca-Cola, LinkedIn, PwC, USAA, Wells Fargo, and many others.
