FourBlock Fall 2021 Semester to Begin Across the Nation
With virtual cohorts available across the country, FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program expands access to reach more transitioning veterans with program resources and support
September 2, 2021 (NEW YORK CITY) – After more than a decade supporting nearly 3,000 veterans in their transitions from military service to meaningful new civilian careers, FourBlock will officially launch a new semester of its flagship Veteran Career Readiness Program today. The Fall 2021 semester will kick off with the FourBlock Atlanta cohort, which will hold its Orientation session for more than 30 active-duty service members and veterans. More than 300 students enrolled across the country will start their semester in the coming weeks, with all cohorts launching by mid-September.
The program will again take place virtually this semester to ensure everyone’s safety in response to COVID-19, which means more transitioning service members and veterans from across the country and around the world will be able to access to the resources and relationship-building opportunities they need to make a successful transition to meaningful new civilian careers. Students in the Fall 2021 semester will be participating from as far as Germany, Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore as FourBlock continues to build a nationwide network of veteran professionals and corporate partners dedicated to supporting service members and veterans in their transition to meaningful new careers after military service.
In the coming weeks, the Fall 2021 semester of FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program will kick off in Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Houston, TX; New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; San Antonio, TX; Tampa, FL; and Washington, D.C., along with three regional virtual cohorts serving veterans and service members around the world in three different time zones – Virtual East, Virtual Central, and Virtual West.
FourBlock’s flagship Veteran Career Readiness Program integrates online learning experiences with face-to-face (in-person or virtual) sessions to help transitioning veterans develop a relationship-based career strategy and equip them with the tools, skills, and relationship building opportunities necessary to succeed in civilian careers. The program also acts as an entryway to FourBlock’s nationwide network of veteran professionals.
Over the course of a semester, participants also obtain real-world corporate experience by connecting with different companies each week and meeting with senior executives from host companies such as Accenture, ADP, Coca-Cola, LinkedIn, PwC, T-Mobile, USAA, Wells Fargo, and many others.
To date, FourBlock has served more than 2,700 veterans through its Career Readiness Program.
FourBlock’s growth would not be possible without the commitment of our corporate partners and various supporters. Thank you for your dedication to supporting the next generation of veterans.
