FourBlock Employer Spotlight: AIG
AIG has played a pivotal role in the success of FourBlock’s Veteran Career Readiness Program since 2019, helping to ensure that the program continues to grow across the country.
Since partnering with FourBlock, AIG has hosted more than 30 sessions of the Veteran Career Readiness Program, serving hundreds of active-duty military members and veterans as they prepare to transition to civilian careers. In 2023 alone, AIG hosted program sessions for our Northeast Virtual; New York City, NY; Charlotte, NC; and Texas Virtual cohorts.
Hiring Opportunities Through FourBlock’s Veteran Career Readiness Program
AIG’s generous support has produced tangible hiring results for our veterans. To date, AIG has extended offers of full-time roles and internships to 14 FourBlock alumni, embodying a commitment that goes beyond philanthropy to active employment solutions.
Equipping Veterans for Meaningful Post-Military Careers
AIG’s contribution to veteran career readiness does not stop at hiring. The company’s involvement in the program has equipped veterans with the confidence to apply class lessons to real-world transitions. In the Fall of 2023, AIG’s sessions led to an outstanding 89% of participants feeling confident they could apply the knowledge gained from AIG’s program sessions to their career transitions, a direct reflection of the program’s efficacy in aligning veterans’ unique skills with industry needs.
Post-class feedback also revealed that 50 FourBlock participants could envision a future with AIG, a significant indicator of AIG’s positive influence.
AIG’s presentations highlighted how military skills translate into their workforce, leaving a lasting impression on our veterans about the company’s culture and opportunities.

Impactful Results Through Partnership at The Inspire Games
In addition to their role in the Veteran Career Readiness Program, AIG has also been a steadfast supporter of the Inspire Games—a unique initiative in partnership with Marsh McLennan that raises funds for FourBlock and adaptive sports training for veterans. This event supports heroes like Ralph DeQuebec, a FourBlock alumnus and gold medalist with the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team at the 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.
