FourBlock’s resident Career Readiness Program comes to two new cities.
FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program is expanding once again with the launch of FourBlock San Diego and FourBlock Austin this fall. The San Diego cohort will begin on Thursday, September 20, while Austin kicks off on Wednesday, October 3.
FourBlock San Diego will be led by Associate Instructors Ken Davenport and Sean White. Davenport is the founder and CEO of Mission Edge, a social enterprise providing consulting and strategy services to nonprofits and social impact organizations. White, meanwhile, is a U.S. Navy veteran who currently serves as Circadence’s Vice President of Cybersecurity Solutions.
The San Diego cohort will visit and learn from top companies in the area, including Amazon, AMN Healthcare, Cox Communications, Dowling & Yahnke, Qualcomm, San Diego State University, Travis Manion Foundation, and University of San Diego.

“We are excited to expand into the San Diego and Austin markets that are rich with veterans and transitioning veterans who will be able to develop their career development skills with the FourBlock Career Readiness Program,” said FourBlock Western Regional Director Monica McNeal. “These expansions are made possible thanks to previous FourBlock alumni who continue to support our growth, as well the San Diego and Austin communities that are supporting the launch.”
