Casey McEuin is a seasoned executive leadership coach, talent acquisition leader, and advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. He is dedicated to aligning business talent needs with the skills and character of transitioning veterans, ensuring a seamless integration into the civilian workforce.

At 25, McEuin was an aspiring Olympic athlete, and a competitive member of the Army’s Tae Kwon Do team. Eight years later, he earned the Purple Heart after being critically injured in Afghanistan. Following his recovery and discharge, he faced the challenge of reintegrating into a society that often overlooked the value veterans bring to the workforce.

Motivated by his experiences, McEuin founded a nonprofit organization to assist veterans in transitioning to civilian careers, helping over 25,000 veterans secure meaningful employment. In April 2016, President Barack Obama recognized his dedication to the veteran community.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, McEuin joined Amazon, leading the talent team for Global Delivery Services and serving on several resource groups. He facilitated the hiring of over 500 veterans at Amazon.

In 2023, McEuin became the Head of Inclusion and Diversity at Michaels Stores Inc., where he developed a military veteran and military spouse hiring initiative. This initiative earned Michaels the Gold Medallion from the Department of Labor’s HireVETS Initiative for exemplary recruiting and retention practices. He also coordinated a nationwide effort to donate $25,000 in art supplies to the Walter Reed Medical Center’s National Intrepid Center of Excellence, supporting art therapy for PTSD and TBI treatment.

McEuin holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior Studies and a Master of Social Work with an emphasis on Diversity, Community Organizations, Policy, and Advocacy from the University of Southern California. He leverages this expertise to advocate for diverse groups in corporate America.
