Emma Jekowsky | Communications Director
As Director of Communications for FourBlock, Emma oversees national strategies to help reach more veterans and military spouses in career transition and grow the FourBlock community.
Prior to joining FourBlock, she executed social media and digital marketing initiatives for the Office of Communications and Public Affairs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and worked with clients across nonprofit, higher education, and corporate sectors at a public relations and public affairs agency in Washington, D.C.
Emma received her bachelor’s degree in English and Communication with a focus in public relations from the University of Maryland. Fueled by an interest in harnessing the power of storytelling to drive social impact, Emma went back to school and earned her master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications with a focus in social impact communications from Georgetown University in 2017.
In collaboration with the FourBlock team, Emma works to activate audiences in support of FourBlock’s mission to equip veterans and military spouses to successfully transition from military service to meaningful civilian careers.
