(NEW YORK CITY) – FourBlock Foundation held its flagship end-of-year event at The New York Athletic Club on November 30. Hickey Freeman was the presenting sponsor for the evening.

It was a sold-out event, with RSVPs from over 450 supporters, partners, veterans, and family members within the FourBlock community. Dean Peter J. Awn of Columbia University delivered the keynote address.

The 2017 Victoria McGrath Volunteer of the Year Award was also presented. This year’s recipient was Michael Pett, a US Army veteran and the North American Military Recruiting Lead at Accenture. Pett was instrumental in the launch of FourBlock Chicago in 2016, helping the foundation’s programs reach veterans in the Midwest.

FourBlock would like to especially thank presenting sponsor Hickey Freeman for its generosity and support. The foundation also thanks USAA, Citi, and Coca-Cola for sponsoring the event, as well as national partners PwC Charitable Foundation, News Corp, and Bob Woodruff Foundation.
