With its expansion into Los Angeles and Tampa, FourBlock’s Career Readiness Program prepares for its most impactful semester yet.
(NEW YORK CITY) – With locations in 15 cities across the United States—triple the amount from just two years ago—FourBlock is preparing to launch the furthest reaching, most impactful semester of its Career Readiness Program yet. Transitioning veterans in cohorts across the nation will begin the program in the coming weeks as FourBlock continues to build the premiere network for veteran professionals.
Key moves within FourBlock, including the hiring of additional Associate Instructors, will allow this fall’s Career Readiness Program to launch in Albany, NY; Atlanta, GA; Bellingham, WA; Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago; IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Tacoma, WA; Tampa, FL; and Washington, DC.
The Career Readiness Program combines in-person lectures, networking events, online assignments, and a specifically tailored curriculum designed in partnership with Columbia University to equip transitioning veterans with the tools necessary to succeed in civilian careers. The program also acts as an entryway to FourBlock’s nationwide network of veteran professionals, which works to get veterans hired into long-term positions.*
Participants also obtain real-world corporate experience by visiting top companies and meeting with senior executives from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coca-Cola, JPMorgan Chase, LinkedIn, T-Mobile, and Amazon, among others.
To date, FourBlock has served over 800 veterans, and with our expansion into Los Angeles and Tampa, this semester is shaping up to be the foundation’s most impactful yet.
